was doing ushering today and just nice Mr Teo Ser Luck was giving a speech, somehow or rather it sounds like any typical motivational speech but I guess the way he managed to bring the message across well enough.
Well, some take home points:
1) Take action
If have an idea/a dream, have the courage to step up and take action first before others. 'Cos it's too late to regret if others had the same idea and succeeded whilst you are not motivated to carry it through.
2) Fail to succeed
No one succeed the first time. By failing, people will learn lessons that will make them a stronger person.
3) Live your dreams, Dare to take the plunge
Work hard to achieve what you want. Life is about sacrifices.
Maybe I should start by aiming to improve my CAP by leaps and bounds.
Actually I do envy those that can concentrate on their tasks for a long time. It has been hard for me to sit down and concentrate indefinitely on a task for anything more than 30mins to an hour.
Haven't been all efficient at internship, whilst people can leave on time, I'd stay back 'cos I couldn't finish the work and didn't want to bring home my laptop. But even still, I'm not really doing any work =(
